You don’t have to be perfect to be worthy of love.
The Scott & Kelli Moss Foundation supports nonprofits that strengthen families, marriages and children, and that show up when disaster strikes. We believe the money should be spent on families, not company expenses.
Most people want their giving to matter, but they don’t have time to research every charity. That’s where we come in. We look at the budget, check where the money actually goes, and only give where it’s spent well.
We’re a small, personal foundation. Most of the people who give with us know us, and they trust us to do the work.
Call us at (602) 317-8928 or send us a note. We’d be glad to hear from you.
The foundation started with a passion for children. Over time we came to see that helping children means helping their families, and sometimes you have to help the family first.
So our giving covers the whole family, regardless of age or background. Scott and Kelli Moss started the foundation in 2019, here in Arizona, because we believe in improving people’s lives and giving them the chance to change.
Strong, faith-based families make for a safer, more productive world. Everything we fund comes back to that.
A few of the organizations we give to.
We focus on four areas. Every organization we fund keeps its overhead at 10% or less, so the money goes where it’s meant to.
Strong families are where everything else starts. We support organizations that help parents and kids stay together and do well.
That includes crisis pregnancy support. Every year we give to Sanctuary of Hope, a Christ-centered maternity home started by John Hagee Ministries. Young mothers live there through their pregnancy and get medical care, schooling and life-skills training, so they can go on to build a stable life for themselves and their babies.
Marriage is a covenant. We’d like to see it brought back into the home, because when marriages are strong, kids do better and communities hold together.
The kinds of marriage programs you want to fund, like premarital classes, counseling, or retreats for couples.
Every kid deserves a safe, steady place to grow up, and people who show up for them.
We’ve supported Compassion International for 30 years, first as a family and now through the foundation. Compassion sponsors children living in poverty around the world.
Planned: funding a full-day ranch event with HopeKids, a Scottsdale charity for families of kids facing life-threatening medical conditions, where kids and their families can spend the day together and ride horses. Confirm before this goes live.
When tornadoes, fires or floods hit, families can lose everything fast. We give to relief organizations that are already on the ground and can get help to people quickly.
So far most of our disaster giving has gone to relief work here in Arizona and across the U.S., through Samaritan’s Purse, Franklin Graham’s relief organization. We give to them because they’re careful and frugal with how they spend.
The foundation is run by its board of directors. None of us are paid.
